アルテ・ポーヴェラを代表するアーティストのひとりである作者の約50年にわたる制作を総覧するカタログである本書は、作品の根底にある芸術と自然の関係性に光を当てている。

木、鉄、蝋、ブロンズ、テラコッタ、大理石、石膏など多様な素材を用いて制作を展開してきた作者。本書には1969年から現在に至る作品が収録され、有機的プロセスと芸術的行為の交差、そして人間と環境との詩的な関係への持続的な関心が示されている。装丁はグラフィックデザイナーのソニア・ダヤコヴァ（Sonya Dyakova）が主宰する「アトリエ・ダヤコヴァ（Atelier Dyakova）」手がけ、作者とハンス・ウルリッヒ・オブリスト（Hans Ulrich Obrist）によるロングインタビューも収録されている。
