2010年、作者はフォトグラファーであるフィリップ・ショルツ・リッターマン（Philipp Scholz Rittermann）と協働し始め、自身の展示を撮影する際に正確な色、存在感、感触を得ようと試みた。本書はそのコラボレーションの成果として刊行された一冊である。光沢が施され、10点もの折り込みページを含む本作は、2015年から2016年の間に「ペース・ギャラリー（PACE GALLERY）」を含む様々なギャラリーや施設で催されたプロジェクトやインスタレーションを紹介し、作者にとって非常に生産的であった2年間を、鮮やかで深い視点をもって読者にもたらしている。

In 2010, Robert Irwin began to work with photographer Philipp Scholz Rittermann to achieve accurate colors, presence, and feel when capturing his installations. This book is a result of that collaboration. With glossy paper and ten foldouts, Robert Irwin: Projects & Exhibitions 2015–2016 provides the reader a vibrant and in-depth view of two very productive years for the artist, which included projects and installations at a variety of galleries and institutions, including Pace Gallery.
