抽象表現主義を代表するロシア生まれのユダヤ系アメリカ人アーティスト、マーク・ロスコ（Mark Rothko）による作品集。

「ルイ・ヴィトン財団（Fondation Louis Vuitton）」は、マーク・ロスコ（Mark Rothko）に捧げる大規模な展覧会を開催し、作者の意向に極めて近いかたちで構成された展示において、アメリカの画家による115点の作品を一堂に集めた。

本書は、2023年10月から2024年4月にかけて開催されたロスコ展に伴い刊行された新たな展覧会カタログであり、「ワシントン・ナショナル・ギャラリー（National Gallery of Art, Washington）」、「テート（Tate）」（ロンドン）、「フィリップス・コレクション（The Phillips Collection）」（ワシントン）といった主要な公的機関の所蔵作品に加え、作者の家族のコレクションを含む国際的な重要プライベート・コレクションからの作品を集成している。

The Fondation Louis Vuitton is dedicating a major exhibition to Mark Rothko, reuniting 115 works of the American painter in a presentation that closely resembles the artist's wishes.

This new exhibition catalogue brings together 115 works from major institutional collections, including the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Tate in London and the Phillips Collection in Washington, as well as from major international private acquisitions, including the artist's family collection.
