イギリス人現代美術家、ジュリアン・オピー（Julian Opie）のカタログ・レゾネ第2巻。本書は2012年から2015年にかけて制作された作品を収録し、イギリス、ロンドンの「クリステア・ロバーツ・ギャラリー（CRISTEA ROBERTS GALLERY）」（刊行当時は「アラン・クリステア・ギャラリー（ALAN CRISTEA GALLERY）」）の創設者であるアラン・クリステア（Alan Cristea）による序文に加え、作品図版とともに作者自身による解説を掲載している。

街や田園風景のさまざまな眺めから着想を得た作品群は、伝統的な芸術ジャンルを21世紀的な視点から再解釈したものとなっている。本書では、作者が初めて手がけた金属製ウォールピースをはじめ、レンチキュラー作品、シルエット作品、彫刻、版画作品など、多様なメディアによる制作を紹介する。75点におよぶ冬景色の作品群もあわせて収録されている。

Volume two of Julian Opie's complete editions catalogue raisonné chronicles the artist’s output from 2012 to 2015, featuring an introductory text by Alan Cristea and commentary by Opie alongside illustrations of his works.

Inspired by different views of the town and countryside, the illustrated works by Opie present twenty-first century versions of time-honoured artistic genres. This extensive publication features works were produced in a variety of media; the first metal wall hangings made by the artist, lenticulars, silhouettes, sculptures and prints including 75 winter landscapes.
