アメリカ・ニューヨークの古書店「JONATHAN A. HILL, BOOKSELLER」が発行する、日本人コンセプチュアルアーティスト、河原温（On Kawara）に関する目録。ドイツ人キュレーター、美術史家であるズデニェク・フェリックス博士（Dr. Zdenek Felix）に宛てて送った「I Am Still Alive」シリーズの電報15点を紹介する。

両者の関係は、スイスの「バーゼル市立美術館（Kunstmuseum Basel）」で1972年3月から4月にかけて開催された展覧会「Konzept – Kunst」のカタログ編集をフェリックス博士が担当していた頃に始まった可能性が高い。同展には河原の作品も出展されており、このカタログには「Nothing, Something, Everything」（1963年）および1965年制作の絵画「Location」が掲載されていた。フェリックスは1972年2月から12月のあいだに、少なくとも11通の電報を河原から受け取っている。

1973年、河原は妻弘子とともにアメリカを横断するロードトリップの最中、ミズーリ州セントルイスにある「ホリデイ・イン・セントルイス・ダウンタウン（Holiday Inn of St. Louis-Downtown）」のレターヘッドを用いて、3ページにわたって自身の人生と制作をまとめた年表を書き記した（本書61–64頁に掲載）。このなかで河原は、自身が電報を送る行為を「"Confirmation" (I Am Still Alive)」と記している。

この資料は、当時「ノバスコシア美術デザイン大学（Nova Scotia College of Art and Design）」で教鞭を執っていたドイツ人キュレーターであるカスパー・ケーニッヒ（Kasper König）に送られ、ケーニッヒはその複写をバーゼルにいたフェリックスへ郵送した。封筒には1973年10月18日の消印が残されている。

1981年までにフェリックスは、ドイツ・エッセンの「フォルクヴァンク美術館（Museum Folkwang）」でキュレーターとして活動しており、同館では巡回展の一箇所として「On Kawara: continuity/discontinuity, 1963–1979」が1981年1月30日から3月15日にかけて開催された。同館の受領スタンプによれば、フェリックスは1981年1月12日、1月26日、3月4日付の電報を含む、少なくとも3通の電報をこの時期に受け取っている。

両者のやり取りは、1992年3月11日から5月10日にかけてハンブルクの「ダイヒトーアハレン美術館（Deichtorhallen Hamburg）」で開催された展覧会「On Kawara: Date Paintings in 89 Cities」を機に、再び活発になる。フェリックスは前年に同館の館長に就任しており、この展覧会に際しても、河原から少なくとも1通の電報を受け取っている。

装丁は「フラットフィックス（Flat Fix）」が担当、リトアニアの「Printing house KOPA」で印刷された。

Bookseller catalogue offering for sale 15 I Am Still Alive telegrams sent by On Kawara (29,771 days) to the German curator Dr. Zdenek Felix. It presents these works in context, and publishes for the first time a “Chronology” that Kawara drafted in 1973 as a timeline of his life and work. Across this three-page photocopy he refers to this series as “Confirmation (I Am Still Alive).” There is also a global census of institutional holdings of the I Am Still Alive telegrams.

This catalogue was published in conjunction with an exhibition (25 October-9 November 2025) of the telegrams staged simultaneously in two New York City locations: a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment gallery and a Financial District office. The show was featured in the New York Times, Artforum, and Impulse.
