アメリカ人アーティスト、リチャード・アーシュワーガー（Richard Artschwager）の作品集。2021年1月から4月にかけて、ローマのギャラリー「ガゴシアン（Gagosian）」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。

1964年から1987年にかけて制作された17点の作品に焦点を当てており、この期間が作者の多様なキャリアにおいて重要な時期であることを示している。知覚の構造を組み替えるその手腕を表しており、イメージがもつ欺瞞的な絵画的世界を、具体的で人間的なオブジェの世界と直接的に対峙させている。

キュレーターであるディーター・シュヴァルツ（Dieter Schwarz）が書き下ろしたエッセイを収録。イタリア語、英語併記。

This book was published on the occasion of the exhibition Richard Artschwager at Gagosian, Rome. It focuses on seventeen works dating from 1964 to 1987, a key period in the artist’s varied career, which demonstrate his ability to rearrange the structures of perception, bringing the deceptive pictorial world of images into direct confrontation with the concretely human world of objects. The bilingual (English/Italian) publication features a new essay by curator Dieter Schwarz.
