本書は、作者にとって初となる包括的モノグラフであり、2007年の設立以降に手がけてきた活動を総覧するものである。判型や主題、構成の異なる12の独立した冊子がまとめて製本され、それぞれが豊富な図版とともにスタジオの実践を多角的に提示する。

本書の中には「An Architect’s Book」「Fables & Figures」「White Wide Walls」「The Hedgehog And The Fox」「Collaboration Objects」「Scenographies」「Rural Codes」「Only A Wall」「Contemporary College」「November 2024」「Jujitsu Urbanism」「Other Rooms」と題された12冊がまとめられている。各セクションはそれぞれ形式や内容が異なり、分析的、芸術的、批評的、編集的といった異なる視点からデザインプロセスの一端を照らし出す。

この12冊はともに、建築家の本をアーティスト・ブックの精神に則り構想するという姿勢のもとに編まれた。独自の論理と固有のアイデンティティを備えたサンプルブックとして結実している。このアプローチは、選び抜かれたプロジェクト構成や、キュレーターであり編集者のモーリッツ・キュング（Moritz Küng）による編集ディレクション、グラフィックデザイナーのアルマン・メヴィス（Armand Mevis）による既製フォーマットにとらわれない本書のためのグラフィックデザイン、そして招かれた協働者たちの寄稿に反映されている。

This first comprehensive monograph surveys the work of the practice. Together, they form an eclectic sample book in which the architect’s book is conceived in the spirit of the artist’s book, a format with its own logic and identity. This approach is reflected in the curated selection of projects, the editorial direction of Moritz Küng, the one-off graphic design by Armand Mevis, and the contributions of invited collaborators.
