フランス人フォトグラファー、アンリ・カルティエ＝ブレッソン（Henri Cartier-Bresson）の作品集。2014年2月から6月にかけて、「ジョルジュ・ポンピドゥー国立芸術文化センター（Centre national d’art et de culture Georges Pompidou (CNAC-GP)」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行され、2026年にあらたに改訂版として再版された。

本書は、作者が写真家、活動家、ジャーナリスト、アーティストとして歩んだ軌跡を豊富な図版とともにたどるモノグラフである。写真を愛する人、そして今日もなお強い影響力を持ち続ける作者の作品を敬愛する人にとって、欠かすことのできない一冊である。代表作として知られる写真に加え、これまで未発表だった写真や、モノクロームだけでなくカラーで撮影された貴重な作品も多数収録している。
