アメリカ人映画監督、脚本家、グレッグ・クウェダー（Greg Kwedar）の作品集。ニューヨークを拠点とする独立系映画製作・配給会社「A24」より刊行された『Screenplay Collection』シリーズの第17弾。本書は、2024年に公開された映画『シンシン／SING SING（原題：Sing Sing）』の脚本を収録した一冊（日本での公開は2025年）。

R&Bシーンを代表するシンガー・ソングライターであるジョン・レジェンド（John Legend）による序文、ジャーナリストのレンバート・ブラウン（Rembert Browne）と、本作のモデルとなった実在の人物であり、作品の製作総指揮を務めた作家のジョン・"ディヴァインG"・ホイットフィールド（John "Divine G" Whitfield）によるエッセイ、同じく映画のモデルとなった人物であり作中でも自身の役を演じたクラレンス・マクリン（Clarence Maclin）とシェイクスピア研究・人種・黒人大西洋研究者であるマイルズ・P・グリアー（Miles P. Grier）による対談、そして劇中に「ニューヨーク・シアター・ワークショップ（New York Theatre Workshop）」で上演された『マミーの掟破り（Breakin' the Mummy's Code）』のライブパフォーマンスの写真が収められている。
