イタリアの出版社「TONINI EDITORE」がイタリアの新進建築家や建築に対して最も密な側面に迫るシリーズ『TACCUINI D'ARCHITETTURA』の第2巻。アーティストのメモやスケッチ、直感的なアイデアに光を当てることで、建築が創造されていく過程を覗くことができる手帳のような一冊。

本巻は、建築家のマルセロ・ガリオット（Marcello Galiotto）とアレッサンドラ・ランパッツォ（Alessandra Rampazzo）の二人が2012年に設立したイタリアの建築オフィス「AMAA」を紹介する。二者は、イタリアを代表する建築家であるマッシモ・カルマッシ（Massimo Carmassi）や日本人建築家である藤本壮介のもとで学んだ経験を持つ。

一冊につき一人のアーティストにフィーチャーする『AUTOBIOGRAPHY』シリーズの流れを受け継ぎながら、本シリーズでは、形になる前の建築の本質を探る。
