日本人アーティスト、宮島達男の作品集。永遠に続くこと、変化し続けること、あらゆるものと関係を結ぶこと。作者は、この3つのコンセプトをベースに、ガジェット（LED／発光ダイオードのデジタルカウンター）を用いた作品で知られる。無数に瞬くガジェットは、人間1人1人が持つ固有の時間のメタファーとして、異なるスピードで時を刻み続ける。「133651」は宮島が90年代にスタートした連作のタイトルであり、本書では、数字の点滅によって「宇宙の関係のすべて」を表そうとする試みを数字とカラー、テキストで展開している。

Tatsuo Miyajima works with the 3 concepts; to continue forever, to keep on changing, and to connect with everything. Miyajima is known for his work employing the system of the gadget/LEDs(light-emitting diodes) digital counter. The countless flashing numbers are used as a metaphor for the time owned by every one of us, and each number is counting time at a different speed. “133651” is the title of his series of works started in the 1990s. In the artist book, the flicking figures are extended on the 2-dimensional field to present "the whole relativity of the cosmos.”
