ドイツ人アーティスト、フランク・ウーウェ・レイジーペン（Frank Uwe Laysiepen）、通称ウレイ（Ulay）と、旧ユーゴスラビア出身のパフォーマンスアーティスト、マリーナ・アブラモヴィッチ（Marina Abramović）による作品集。2025年11月から2026年5月にかけてスロベニアの「Cukrarna Gallery」で開催した展覧会に伴い刊行された。

本書は、ウレイとアブラモヴィッチによる急進的かつ妥協なき協働を、30年以上を経て、あらためて検証する新たな出版物である。

1970年代に行われた身体を主題とするアクションは、パフォーマンス史における重要な位置を占める。両者の協働は、1988年の万里の長城での壮大な別れのパフォーマンスによって劇的に幕を閉じた。

本書は、12年にわたる共同生活を記録したフォトブックである。200点を超える写真を通して、パフォーマンスの舞台裏、旅の記録、日常の瞬間を提示する。広く知られたイメージに加え、これまで未公開であった写真も含まれる。

さらに裁判資料も収録され、最後にはアブラモヴィッチとスロベニア出身のキュレーターのレナ・ピスラック（Lena Pislak）による対話を掲載する。親密さ、愛、対立、断絶、和解、記憶といった主題を通じて、ウレイとの関係が語られる。

The body-related actions by Ulay / Abramovic in the 1970s are highlights in the history of performance. The collaboration ended to spectacular effect with the great farewell performance on the Great Wall of China in 1988. "Love. Hate. Forgiveness." is a photobook that offers a rare glimpse into 12 years of Ulay and Marina Abramovic's life together. The book unveils behind-the-scenes moments from performances, travels, and everyday life through more than 200 photographs - some widely recognized, others never before shown to the public. The photobook also includes court documents and concludes with a unique and revealing conversation between Marina Abramovic and Lena Pislak, addressing their shared relationship with Ulay through themes of intimacy, love, conflict, rupture, reconciliation, and remembrance.
